Privacy Policy

Privacy is important to us, our clients and our candidates.  Therefore, we have a privacy notice that details what information we collect, how we use this information and how we keep this information safe.  In addition, we outline your rights in relation to personal data and how you can contact us to exercise those rights.

What information do we collect?

We may collect the following information from you:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • CV
  • Motivation letter
  • Interview notes
  • Personality assessment testing results
  • References

We collect this information when you send us your CV, participate in interviews, fill out personality assessment tests, send us contact details for references or ask us questions through our website.

How do we use personal information?

We use the collected information to determine if you are a suitable candidate for our clients.

What legal basis do we have for processing you personal data?

As recruiters, we have a legitimate interest in providing our clients the best candidates possible.

When do we share personal data?

Your personal data is your property.  We will only share it with a client, if you have confirmed that you’re OK with this.  Before that, we will provide you with details of the position and client in question.  If we receive your written OK to share your personal data, we will send this information to our client in an encrypted way.

Where do we store and process personal data?

We only accept emailed CV’s, motivation letters, reference contacts and personality assessment testing results.  This data is stored together with interview notes, and reference notes on an encrypted cloud based folder that can only be accessed by the consultant working on the specific recruitment project.

How do we secure personal data?

Your personal data is your property, and if you have shared it with us, we feel responsible for it.

  • We encrypt your data and store it on a cloud service. 
  • In addition, we do maintain an encrypted backup on a different cloud service.
  • Only the consultant you have communicated with has access to your data.
  • We conduct privacy impact assessments and GDPR audits at least once per year
  • Our staff has the necessary knowledge regarding data security
  • Third party risks are mitigated through contracts.

How long do we store you personal data?

We keep your personal data for 2 years and then it is deleted from our cloud servers.  Our backups, are also deleted after the 2 year term has passed.

Your rights in relation to personal data

You may access your personal information, to correct it, delete it, or just to see what information we have on you.  Please send an email to consultant@peoplemanagement.lv and we will send you all of the personal information we have about you.

Use of automated decision-making and profiling

We do not use profiling or automated decision-making.

Use of cookies and other technologies

We only use two cookies! Hurray!

One cookie is called CookieConsent, and it’s used to make you aware that any information you enter into our contact form will be collected and sent to us.  The other cookie is from Google and it’s because we use reCaptcha to help fight against spam. We That’s it!

The other cookie is called ReCAPTCHA collects personal information from users to make this determination of whether they’re human and not a bot.
First, the reCAPTCHA algorithm will check to see if there’s a Google cookie placed on the computer being used. Then, a reCAPTCHA cookie will be added to the user’s browser, and a complete snapshot of the user’s browser window at that moment in time will be captured, pixel by pixel.

Some of the browser and user information collected at this time includes:

  • All cookies placed by Google over the last 6 months,
  • How many mouse clicks you’ve made on that screen (or touches if on a touch device),
  • The CSS information for that page,
  • The date,
  • The language your browser is set to,
  • Any plug-ins you have installed on the browser, and
  • All Javascript objects
